TRUE STORY: "MOCHA THE GREAT"
When I was a small child and begged mom and dad for a new puppy, like a lot of families we went to the local flea market. There we found a precious little, male chihuahua. He was tri-colored and absolutely adorable. We decided to name him Mocha, because his coat consisted of tan, dark chocolate, and white. Shortly after purchasing Mocha he started having seizures. Fortunately, we have a great vet that was able to act quick and place him on a daily medication regimen for his disorder. Although Mocha lived to be 15 years old, he suffered with seizures frequently and was forced to take medication daily. The truth is Mocha's mom or dad probably had the same disorder, but the breeder just ignored it and continued to breed this problem into another generation of puppies. The issue with many breeders is they begin to love the money more than they love the dogs. This is just one of the many reasons we decided to venture into breeding chihuahuas.
